Mother’s day is one of my favorite holidays! This is purely due to my complete lack of guilt for doing absolutely nothing for the entire day! I sleep in late, get coffee in bed, and snuggle with my kids. It is the most perfect of all the holiday’s. Here are a few of my recommendations for mother day gifts for moms who love to cook!
I am absolutely a person who is excited to get kitchen related gifts. My in-laws have been giving me a Cutco Knife for every holiday for years. I am building a beautiful collection of stunning seriously sharp knives.
This years gift guide is full of item’s that I love and use regularly. If you have been following my blog for any time you already know that cast iron anything is my favorite way to cook. This cast iron pan is used every single day in my home. She lives on my stove top and is the vessel I use for everything from eggs to smores. When I am not cooking on the stove top I still swear by cast iron. That is where my dutch oven comes into play. There is nothing better for searing and cooking a roast. All in one pan! Less dishes! I also always have my ipad stand out so I can look up recipes. I love this stand because it is made from wood so it looks nice sitting out on the counter.
Love to feed a crowd? This cheese board is perfect. The knives are built into the bottom which makes for easy organization and storage. Heading to your mother in laws house? This is a great hostess gift!
Let’s not forget to season all this food that we are making. These olive oils are another go to for me. I use lemon for fish and rosemary for meat. They are all also just great with a big hunk of French bread.
Finally, my most favorite kitchen candle ever. This tomato leaf scented candle. Tomato leaf is my all time favorite smell for a kitchen. Light, herbal and doesn’t compete with your food. It reminds me of sitting outside on a warm day plucking tomatoes straight from the plant. Another activity I plan to partake in on Mother’s Day!
Enjoy your day Mama’s!
