Chicken wings are some of my favorite bar food. Crispy and delicious but often deep fried and super unhealthy. I decided to find a way to bake wings at home but still maintain that crispy exterior I have grown to love.
I have cracked the code to mouthwatering wings without all the added calories.
If you are using frozen wings allow them to defrost first.
First, place wings on a greased cookie sheet. Keep them spaced apart for best results.
Cover wings with foil.
Place wings skin side up in a preheated 400F oven for 50 minutes, flipping the wings half way through cooking time.
Here is the most important part!
When the wings have reached their cooking time remove the foil, flip the wings to skin side up and put them under the broiler for 10 minutes.
Don’t walk away. We all know what happens when we walk away from an oven on broil.
Remove from oven and serve.
I like to serve buffalo wing sauce on the side with homemade blue cheese dressing.
